Welcome to The Leys Health Centre

We are a practice of 10 GPs assisted by three Practice Nurses and three Health Care Assistants. From time to time we need to employ locums to cover absences.  In addition, we have District Nurses, Health Visitors, a podiatry service, speech and language therapists and a range of psychotherapy professionals attached to the practice.

The team is supported by a dedicated Reception and Admin team who are able to help you find the most appropriate appointment and sort out any administrative issues you may have such as sick notes or checking on a hospital referral.

Our aim is to provide an effective and personal service, working confidentially in partnership with you, to achieve a high standard of medical care in a friendly and professional manner.

Extended Access to GP Services

Evening and weekend NHS appointments are now available in the new OxFed Evening and Weekend GP Clinics, located in Temple Cowley, Donnington, Botley, Summertown and East Oxford, where you can consult with a NHS GP, practice nurse, or other health professional. Appointments are booked by calling our Practice reception who can advise if the service is suitable for your needs.
